Process

How the work actually happens.

Nobody can judge a crew off a gallery. What decides whether you can resell us is everything between the brief landing and the work going out — so here it is, in order.

01

The brief

One page, written back to you.

Send the client, the goal and roughly where you're pointing — a ten-minute call covers it. We write it back as a single page: pages, features, integrations, and what's explicitly outside. You sign that off before anything starts. It's the document that saves your margin the day the client remembers one more thing they always wanted.

You bring

  • Client, goal, direction
  • Whatever brand assets exist
  • A yes on the scope

You get

  • A one-page scope
  • A fixed price
  • A date you can pass on
02

Structure

Page map before pixels.

Every page mapped and the important ones wireframed before design starts. It's the cheapest moment in the whole job to change your mind, and it drags out the questions nobody thought to ask while the deal was being sold — where the thank-you page goes, what the nav does on a phone, where the leads actually land.

You bring

  • A read of the map
  • Copy, or a decision about copy

You get

  • Page map
  • Wireframes for the templates that matter
  • The questions nobody asked
03

Built in the browser

Not a picture of a website.

We build in code from the start. What you review sits on a real URL and behaves like the finished thing — responsive, interactive, openable on your own phone. There's no gap between an attractive flat comp and a disappointing build, because there is no comp.

You bring

  • Two rounds of changes
  • Content and sign-offs

You get

  • A staging URL
  • Hand-coded, phone-first
  • Copy that sounds like you
04

The gate

Nothing reaches you until it clears.

Every job runs the same list before it goes anywhere near you. You should never be the one who finds the broken form, and certainly not while sharing your screen with a client. That's the whole reason to have a crew rather than a contractor.

You bring

  • Nothing. This one's ours.

You get

  • The list below, in full
  • Everything fixed before you look
05

Handover

Your name on every screen.

Packaged and handed over, or hosted by us — your call, job by job. Source, credentials, documentation, all of it. The work belongs to your client, through you. We keep nothing back as leverage and we appear nowhere on it.

You bring

  • Where it lives
  • Who gets the keys

You get

  • Source and credentials
  • Documentation
  • A Care Plan if you want one

The Gate

What everything clears before you see it.

Miss a line and it doesn't go out. This is the difference between hiring a contractor and hiring a crew — the checking is ours, and it happens before the work reaches you.

Before anything leavesEvery job
  • Real devices, not a resized browser window
  • Lighthouse run: speed, accessibility, SEO, best practice
  • Every form submitted, routed and confirmed end to end
  • Keyboard-only pass over everything interactive
  • Contrast checked against WCAG AA
  • 404, empty and error states designed rather than defaulted
  • Titles, descriptions, social cards and icons on every page
  • Analytics and conversion events firing, and verified
  • No console errors on any route
  • Redirects mapped off the old site, where there was one

The Terms

Money, and changes of mind.

Half, then half
Half when the brief is signed off, half when staging is approved — never after it's already live.
Two rounds included
Two full rounds of changes inside the agreed scope. Anything past it is quoted before we touch it.
The clock stops
Time starts when we have assets, copy and approvals, and pauses whenever we're waiting on you.
Nothing locked in
Care Plans run month to month, per job, thirty days' notice to stop. No term, no exit fee.

The Line

Things we don't do.

  • Contact your client directly
  • Put our name anywhere on the work
  • Hold source or credentials back
  • Start anything outside an agreed scope
  • Quote a range and invoice the top of it

Agencies are the whole business. Going around one would end every other conversation we're having — so this holds because of how we make a living, not because of a promise on a page.
